1. In 1927, the village of Park Falls was incorporated in Price County. It was named after the picturesque waterfalls on the nearby Flambeau River.

2. On August 21, 1965, the Beatles played a concert at Milwaukee County Stadium. It was the only time the Fab Four played at the venue, and it was also their first concert in the state of Wisconsin.

3. The Wisconsin Dells, a popular tourist destination known for its natural beauty and waterparks, was officially incorporated as a city on August 21, 1894.

4. The Green Bay Packers played their first ever home game on August 21, 1920, at Hagemeister Park in Green Bay. They defeated the Menominee North End Athletic Club by a score of 48-0.

5. On August 21, 1908, Badger Hollow School No. 5 in Ozaukee County was struck by a tornado. Miraculously, none of the students or teachers were seriously injured, but the school was completely destroyed.
