1. In 1904, the town of Baggs, located in Carbon County, was officially incorporated.

2. In 1915, the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association was formed in Cody, Wyoming. Its goal was to create a monument to honor William F. Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill, and his contributions to the American West.

3. In 1934, the Wyoming Legislature ratified the 21st Amendment to the United States Constitution, which repealed Prohibition.

4. In 1950, Cheyenne's KGWN-TV broadcasted its first television program, making it the first television station in Wyoming.

5. In 2006, a severe winter storm hit Wyoming, bringing heavy snow and strong winds that caused widespread power outages and closed many roads and schools. The storm was one of the worst winter storms to hit the state in decades.
