4. In 1947, a UFO sighting occurred over Trenton, New Jersey. Witnesses reported seeing bright lights in the sky, and the incident was investigated by the U.S. Air Force.

5. In 1994, the New Jersey State Legislature passed the Domestic Partnership Act, making New Jersey the second state in the United States to recognize domestic partnerships. The act provided legal protections and benefits to same-sex couples.
