3) In 1941, the Wisconsin State Capitol building in Madison was completed after over a decade of construction. It is now a National Historic Landmark.
4) In 1965, Green Bay Packers quarterback Bart Starr set a team record by completing 18 consecutive passes in a game against the Chicago Bears. The Packers won the game 23-12.
5) In 2010, the Wisconsin Badgers football team made a historic comeback to defeat the Michigan Wolverines 48-28 after trailing 21-0 in the first quarter. It remains the largest comeback in the history of Wisconsin football.
