5. In 2010, the New Jersey Devils opened the season with a 3-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres, marking the first game played at the brand new Prudential Center in Newark. The arena, which replaced the aging Continental Airlines Arena, has since become one of the premier sports and entertainment venues on the East Coast.
