2. In 1963, the Denver Broncos played their first ever game at Bears Stadium (now known as Mile High Stadium). The team lost to the Oakland Raiders.

3. In 1985, the first ever Bolder Boulder 10K race took place in Boulder, Colorado. The race has since become one of the largest and most popular 10K races in the world.

4. In 1994, the Colorado Rockies played their first ever playoff game at Mile High Stadium. Unfortunately, they lost to the Atlanta Braves.

5. In 2012, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra held their first ever legal marijuana-themed concert. The event, called "Classically Cannabis: The High Note Series," featured a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and had a designated smoking area for concert-goers.
