4. In 1967, The Mills Brothers, a popular vocal group, performed at the Tennessee State Fair in Nashville.
5. In 1980, the Tennessee Titans, then known as the Houston Oilers, defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-17 in an NFL football game at the Astrodome, with running back Earl Campbell rushing for 149 yards and two touchdowns.
