3. In 1927, famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed the Monona Terrace convention center in Madison, Wisconsin. However, the project was not completed until 1997, more than 30 years after Wright's death.

4. On March 31, 1948, the University of Wisconsin-Madison installed the first computer on a college campus in the United States. The machine, dubbed the "Illiac I," took up an entire room and was capable of performing complex mathematical calculations.

5. Wisconsin has a rich tradition of dairy farming, and on March 31, 2017, the state celebrated its first official "Dairy Day." The holiday recognizes the contributions of Wisconsin's 7,000+ dairy farmers and the important role they play in the state's economy and culture.
