1. New Hampshire lost two residents in the attacks on September 11, 2001. Jeffrey Coombs and Robert G. LeBlanc both died in the World Trade Center attacks in New York City. Both men were from the town of Barnstead.

2. The state of New Hampshire quickly responded to the attacks by sending resources and personnel to New York City. The state sent search and rescue teams, firefighters, and other emergency personnel to assist with the rescue and recovery efforts.

3. On September 12, 2001, the New Hampshire House of Representatives met in a special session to honor the victims of the attacks. Representatives stood for a moment of silence and then unanimously passed a resolution supporting the president, the military, and the victims of the attacks.

4. In the years following the attacks, New Hampshire erected a memorial to honor the victims of September 11. The memorial features a steel beam from the World Trade Center and is located in the city of Nashua.

5. September 11, 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the attacks. In New Hampshire, many communities will hold events and memorials to honor the victims and remember the events of that day.
